Thank you for being a supporter of this year’s Magic of Hope Auction & Gala. Here are the details about how to BID and WATCH the Magic of Hope LIVE on Zoom!

There are TWO STEPS to participate in the Magic of Hope Auction & Gala:

STEP ONE:  BID - Register to Bid by clicking on the “Register Here” button above. If you have already registered and want to log in to the bidding site, click on the “Online Auction Bidding” button above or the link you received via text message.

STEP TWO: WATCH – This will be a fun LIVE interactive event, not a pre-recorded show. You can visit and interact with other attendees just like you would in person only via ZOOM. Click on this link to get your ZOOM link: https://apdaparkinson.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZIqd-6grj0rE92Zemi0AS2_OcbF_ekOeqdR.

Enter your name and email (and your Zoom room party host – think of it as a table captain, if applicable); you will receive a personal ZOOM link sent to the email address you entered. If you are part of a separate Zoom Room during the cocktail portion of the event (5:00-5:30 pm PT), then you MUST register on ZOOM no later than 12noon PT on Friday, Feb 26, to be automatically whisked into your party room when you join at 5:00 pm. If you are not part of a separate room, we would love you to join us in the main room!

That’s it! On Friday night, you will bid on your phone, tablet, or another window on your computer to bid, and watch the show on Zoom with your Computer or Smart TV with all the other guests!

Our Magic of Hope Hotline will be available on Friday for any login, online bidding, or zoom issues! If we don’t answer, we are on the phone with another guest, please text or leave a message, and we will call you right back: 206-595-4478

Looking forward to seeing you live on Zoom!

About Us

American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA)

APDA Northwest was founded by a dedicated group of volunteers to support the needs of approximately 60,000 people with Parkinson's in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. We are a local chapter of American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), which is the country’s oldest and largest grassroots organization serving the Parkinson’s community.

APDA Northwest aims to fulfill our mission locally by everyday providing the support, education, and research that will help everyone impacted by Parkinson’s disease live life to the fullest. This dual mission of helping people live better today, while also fighting for a better tomorrow is unique in the Northwest.

Parkinson’s disease affects 10 million people worldwide, more than MS, ALS and Muscular Dystrophy combined, making it the second most common neurological disorder. With our aging population, these numbers are only going to grow. Currently, the cause is unknown and there is no cure or treatment to stop the progression of the disease.
