Join us for a fun-filled night of cocktails, dinner, merriment and more at the Magic of Hope Gala & Auction! It's a festive gathering of the local Parkinson's community, with many ways to support the American Parkinson Disease Association, Northwest Chapter (APDA Northwest). Every dollar raised goes to provide the support, education, and research that will help everyone impacted by Parkinson's disease live life to the fullest!
The Magic of Hope is APDA's largest fundraiser of the year. In 2025, you helped us raise over $578,000. With your support, we’re aiming for $600,000 this year to fund vital support programs, education, and research.
This Year's Theme: OPTIMISM
In 2026, we are celebrating OPTIMISM because optimism is what propels us forward. More than a mindset, optimism is a force that drives progress, inspires hope, and connects our community. It is the belief that despite the challenges of Parkinson’s disease, there is always hope to be found, progress to be made, and joy to be shared. This year, we honor the spirit of optimism within everyone touched by Parkinson’s. At APDA, strength in optimism fuels our mission and lights the way toward better support, accessible education, stronger community, and ultimately, a cure. Join us as we shine a spotlight on the power of persistence, possibility, and OPTIMISM.

What to Expect
The evening kicks off with a cocktail hour, silent auction, and fun games and raffles! Then head to your seats to enjoy a fabulous dinner, the ever-popular Dessert Dash, an incredible live auction, Optimism Awards Ceremony and a Raise the Paddle to support the mission of APDA Northwest.

We anticipate around 350 guests will attend, many of whom have been touched personally or professionally by Parkinson's. Our last in-person event sold out so be sure to reserve your spot today!
